Mr. Damon Smith began practicing law in Florence Alabama in 1998 and has handled a few thousand cases concerning Bankruptcy and Divorce. He is a 1997 Graduate of The Birmingham School of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate in Law. Damon Smith Graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992 with a Masters in Social Work and from the University of North Alabama in 1990 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work. He worked as a Therapist and Social Worker in various areas before and during Law School. He went to Coffee High School and Graduated in 1986.
Leslie Cooper is Damon Smith and Associates’ newest Legal Assistant. Leslie grew up in central Florida. While growing up her grandparents took her every summer in the camper to travel. By the time she was a teenager, she had been to every state in the United States! That passion for traveling led Leslie to north Alabama, and eventually to Florence. Leslie enjoys her off time with her two teenaged sons. They keep her on her toes! Leslie hopes to soon take the Paralegal exam and continues to work diligently under Mr. Smith’s supervision. She is a rising star!
